She received her PhD in Environmental Engineering from Memorial University, Canada in 2024 and worked as a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow (2024\u20132026) at the same university. Her research focuses on organic and emerging contaminants in water environments, and the integration of AI-aided tools for contaminant control. Her research has been published in leading environmental journals, including<em> Environmental Science &amp; Technology<\/em>, <em>Water Research<\/em>, and <em>Journal of Hazardous Materials<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=XhJxiIoAAAAJ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Scholar<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research Interests<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Behavior and mitigation of emerging contaminants<\/strong>, such as microplastics and plastic additives, in natural and engineered environmental systems<\/li>\n<li><strong>Development of digital twin frameworks <\/strong>to simulate contaminant behavior in coastal waters and support contaminant monitoring and control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold, or expect to soon complete, a Master\u2019s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field;<\/li>\n<li>Have a strong interest in environmental studies and the motivation to pursue independent PhD research;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; and<\/li>\n<li>Meet QUT\u2019s academic and English-language entry requirements for PhD study (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.qut.edu.au\/research\/study-with-us\/how-to-apply\">https:\/\/www.qut.edu.au\/research\/study-with-us\/how-to-apply<\/a>).
