PEOPLE Network Workshop: Indigenous Engagement in Research Workshop, June 8

We are very excited to announce that our partners at Innovation7 have very generously offered to facilitate a series of workshops on Indigenous Engagement in Research. We believe that this is a highly important component of research in the PEOPLE Network. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about Indigenous engagement and how we can integrate Indigenous knowledge into our research projects and we highly encourage you to attend.

Innovation7 plays a unique role in the path towards reconciliation by bridging the values and gap between Canadian Government, Business and Indigenous communities, to solve complex problems, strengthen consultation and improve project outcomes. Our special guest, Dale Booth, has over 20 years of experience working in the Indigenous affairs space, specializing in major infrastructure development and Public Private Partnerships procurement. We are very pleased to be able to invite Dale to share his valuable knowledge and experience with us.

The workshop will be held on Monday, June 8, 3:00 PM EST and an agenda is attached. The workshop is open to all, and will run approximately until 5:00, followed by an invitation only meeting and discussion for the NFRF team.

We will be holding the workshop using Cisco Webex Meetings. The workshop is open to all, if you are not in the email list. Please feel free to register here:
