We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kenneth Lee has been honored as the recipient of the 2022 Timothy R. Parsons Medal. The Timothy R. Parsons Medal, established by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), recognizes outstanding achievements in ocean sciences and honors the remarkable contributions of Dr. Timothy R. Parsons. Dr. Kenneth Lee, a founding member of PEOPLE and adjunct professor with NRPOP, Memorial University, and the former senior science advisor at DFO, has made groundbreaking advancements in multidisciplinary research, greatly enhancing our understanding of oceans and ecosystems. His dedication and expertise have enriched the scientific community and advanced ocean sciences in Canada. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Lee for this well-deserved honor and for his outstanding contributions to the scientific community and the advancement of ocean sciences in Canada.
