We are thrilled to share that the latest edition of the Université Laval Summer School on Protecting WATER in Vulnerable Contexts has officially begun! Over the next three weeks, participating students and faculty will embark on a transformative journey through the Andes of Colombia—a region rich in water and biodiversity.
This immersive academic experience is led by Dr. Manuel Rodriguez, NSERC Chairholder in Drinking Water at Université Laval, in collaboration with Dr. Caetano Dorea (University of Victoria), Oscar Efrén Ospina Zuñiga (Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia), and WASH Canada. The summer school offers a unique opportunity to engage with water challenges on the ground, blending scientific research with field-based learning.
The PEOPLE Network is proud to support this international initiative alongside the Faculté d’aménagement, d’architecture, d’art et de design – Université Laval and the University of Ottawa International Office.
